2024 Billy Button Rosato Awarded 92 points, The Wine Front

Attractive salmon pink. Beautifully fragrant and pretty, with delicate aromas of fairy floss and strawberry leaf. Strawberry and red cherry compliment a palate that is textural, yet delicate.

2024 Shy Susan Pinot Gris  '...a step or three beyond the average" 94 points, Mattinson & 93 points Halliday Wine Companion

Dense aromas of poached pear, sweet orange citrus, almond kernels, ginger and spice.  A supple and textured palate, with layers of flavour - baked pastry, poached pears and clotted cream.  Fresh and balanced with ample acid to drive home the generous and creamy palate.

2023 Shy Susan Tempranillo 95 points Mattinson & Halliday Wine Companion. "...just plain terrific". Supple and textural, with a lingering finish

Concentrated and brambly. A supple and textural palate with layers of blackberry and black cherry tangled with wild herbs and a graphite edge that provides an undercurrent of earthiness.  Generous tannins bring a structured firmness to the palate.  An enticing wine with lovely texture and a long finish.

2023 Clay Pot Wines Pandora's Amphora Awarded 92 points, Halliday Wine Companion, Jeni Port

"...Savoury, earthy, almond nutty in pear, preserved lemon, peach with a pinch of bitter herbs. The two Italian grape varieties work well together: vermentino offering the high floral and citrus notes, fiano bringing the waxy mouthfeel, the buttery warmth and added almond savouriness. Dry and chalky to close. A refreshing, attitude-free zone."

2020 Clay Pot Wines Pyrrha Awarded 93 points, Halliday Wine Companion, Jeni Port

"Fermented in a single amphora, nine months on skins, unfiltered. The effect of '19/'20 bushfires in the Alpine Valleys saw the maker replace the usual Alpine saperavi with a sagrantino from Heathcote. A super heavy, deep-punted bottle is intended to impress, but the wine does a fine job by itself. Seductive aromas in dark berries, pressed flowers, thyme, marjoram and baked earth. The grape's naturally high tannins are masterfully massaged by time in the amphora into a fresh, energised whole, especially impressive for a five-year-old. Brings a light earthy, saline olive savouriness to bear for that extra layer of delectable interest."
