2025 Billy Button Bianco
The “Alpine” range are value wines made to offer immediate enjoyment to the consumer. The range is made up of a Bianco, Rosato, Rosso, Prosecco and a Sparkling Red. Components vary year to year depending on the season and careful blending is used to create interesting wines featuring an abundance of varieties. Even though this range is made on a slightly larger scale than other Billy Button wines, all the components are made using a small batch ethos and are kept separate until the final blending.
Production Notes
A small batch ethos was implemented with all batches kept separate until the final blending. Wines were fermented in stainless steel using a combination of selected yeast strains on each batch. Some batches were matured on yeast lees for up to 9 months. Vermentino forms the core of the blend.
