2025 Billy Button Cane Cut Manseng

A dessert style made from Manseng.

The Manseng family of grape varieties hails from south west France. It makes delicious aromatic wine, high in natural acidity. 

Gros Manseng is known for producing powerful and intensely flavoured wine. Think high acid, abundant flavours of apricot and quince and attractive spice and floral notes.

Tasting Note

Lifted aromas of citrus blossom, delicate white florals and a twist of lemon zest. A fresh and lively palate, balancing lush sweetness and bright acidity for a clean, vibrant finish. 

With time in bottle, this wine will unfurl deeper layers of honeyed character, subtle spice and toasty complexity. Enjoy now or cellar confidently for 5–10 years.

"The producer considered conditions perfect for a late-harvest wine in '25, with its warm, early vintage. It's a real sweetie – nicely balanced, fresh and crisp. Manseng's quince, citrus and apple qualities are highlighted and enhanced with notes of barley sugar, candied fruits and cumquat. It's reasonably light on its feet with a lovely bright tang. 375ml."
